By creating an account and using Legacy Lock Box you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree do not use the service.

Legacy Lock Box is a family preparedness and personal organization platform that allows individuals to securely store personal information, important wishes, legal document references, and financial details for access by designated family members. We are not a law firm, financial advisor, funeral home, or estate planning service. The information in Legacy Lock Box does not constitute legal or financial advice.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@legacylockbox.io if you suspect unauthorized access

• Legacy Lock Box offers monthly and lifetime subscription plans
• Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically each month until cancelled
• Lifetime plans are a one-time payment with no recurring charges
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Prices are listed in US dollars
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

• Monthly plans: cancel anytime, no refunds for the current billing period
• Lifetime plans: 30-day money back guarantee, contact support@legacylockbox.io within 30 days of purchase
• Enterprise plans: refund terms are specified in your enterprise agreement

• You may invite family members up to the seat limit of your plan
• You are responsible for ensuring only trusted individuals are granted access
• Legacy Lock Box is not responsible for actions taken by family members you have authorized
• You can revoke family member access at any time

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false or misleading information
• Attempt to access another user's account
• Reverse engineer or copy any part of the service
• Use the service to store information that infringes on the rights of others

• You own all information you enter into Legacy Lock Box
• By uploading documents you grant us a limited license to store and display them to your authorized family members
• We do not claim ownership of your content
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents you add

• Legacy Lock Box is a planning and organization tool, not a legal service
• We do not verify the accuracy of any information you enter
• We do not guarantee that family members will be able to complete all tasks in the action plan
• Documents stored in Legacy Lock Box do not replace original legal documents
• Always keep original signed documents in a safe physical location
• Legal documents generated through Legacy Lock Box are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice

Legacy Lock Box provides document generation tools that produce templates for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing generated through the service constitutes legal advice, creates an attorney-client relationship, or substitutes for the guidance of a licensed attorney. Legal requirements vary by state and jurisdiction, and a document that is valid in one location may not be valid in another. You should always have any document reviewed, customized, and notarized by a licensed attorney in your state before signing or relying on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law Legacy Lock Box shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

• You may cancel your account at any time from Account Settings
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination your data will be deleted within 30 days

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We will notify you by email of any material changes to these terms with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
